EDUCATION

• Received his dental degree from Universidad Central of Venezuela and Tufts University
• Gained initial surgical experience through internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University
• Completed advanced education training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center in 2009.
• Completed a yearlong fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

ACADEMIC APPOINTMENTS

• Associate Professor and Program Director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University
• Dedicated staff member at Tufts Medical Center, where he holds operating room privileges.
• Author and co-author of many book chapters and publications in the peer review literature.
